Awaze, which comprises three of Croatia’s leading luxury rental agencies (Croatia Luxury Rent, My Istria and Istria Home), reported that visitor numbers increased by 7% during the Easter holidays compared to their 2022 record. However, current sales results show that the total number of reservations sold is 32% higher than in the first quarter of last year.
Until Easter Monday in Croatia, approximately 300,000 arrivals and more than 940,000 overnight stays were registered, which compared to the same period in April last year represents an increase of 55% in arrivals and 73% in overnight stays. The largest number of overnight stays were realized in Istria, Kvarner and Split-Dalmatia County. Dubrovnik, Porec, Rovinj, Zagreb and Split are among the top cities to visit.
