Demand for resort real estate in Spain from Russians has increased by 42% since the beginning of the year

In the first quarter, Russian citizens bought 61% more apartments and houses compared to last year. The data is provided in the Sonneil Research report based on information from Spanish registrars.

A total of 8,980 resort housing units were sold in the first three months. The main buyers were also citizens of Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, and Germany. In total, foreigners purchased more than 38% of the total volume of similar objects sold on the market.

The sales leaders are Barcelona, ​​Malaga and Alicante. These provinces account for more than 46% of real estate sales to foreign citizens.
