The largest number of apartments were built last year in Central Bohemia and Prague, and the smallest number in the Karlovy Vary region. More than 50% of new housing in the country is located in family homes. On average, it takes 40 months to build a family home. The living area of ​​the apartment remained almost unchanged over the year and amounted to about 71 square meters. m. Statistics show that 20% of completed apartments were built in the Central Bohemian Region, and two thirds of them in family houses.

The number of apartments that have just begun construction fell by about 2,700 units last year compared to the previous year.
