In Italy, rental prices have been rising over the past 12 months

In May of this year, rental rates for real estate in Italy increased by 3.8%. Thus, the average price per square meter per month is 13 euros. Over the past 12 months, rent has risen in price by 11.8%.

An increase in prices per square meter was noted in most Italian capitals (53 out of 87 observed). Prices have not changed in Reggio Calabria, Pavia, Novara and Chieti. The highest monthly growth was recorded in Alessandria (+8.6%) and Salerno (+8.2%).

In Turin, rents increased by 4.5%, in Rome by 0.9%, in Milan by 0.4%, and in Naples by a modest 0.1%.
