Montenegro has been named one of the cheapest destinations for Brits to visit in 2023, according to recent research from Love Holidays


And representatives of Skyscanner say that since last year there has been a significant increase in search queries to Montenegro. Podgorica makes better financial sense than traditional British hotspots such as Spain and Portugal. The country’s capital offers a lot for tourists, but many choose the 200 km of Adriatic coastline with Blue Flag beaches, or Lake Skadar, the waterfalls on the Cijevna River, the island of Sveti Stefan or the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kotor. Getting around here is still pleasant and easy with a rental car, which is again relatively cheap compared to its European counterparts.
