Prices for new housing in Croatia increased by 6.8% in the first half of the year

The average price per square meter of new buildings sold in Croatia reached 2,326 euros in the first half of 2023. This is 6.8% more than last year and 1.7% higher than the second half of 2022. This data is provided by the National Statistical Office.

In the capital of the country, Zagreb, the average price of primary real estate was 2,633 euros per sq. m. m. in the first half of the year, while in other cities it was 2048 euros. In total, in the first six months of 2023, 2,103 new residential properties with a total usable area of ​​141,459 sq.m. were sold in Montenegro. Of these, 992 properties were sold in Zagreb and 1111 in other cities of Croatia.
