Property sales in Cyprus rose 19% in June compared to the same month last year, according to official data from the Department of Lands and Surveys

Sales increased in all regions, with the exception of Famagusta, where the number did not change. Limassol recorded the highest number of transactions (444), followed by Paphos (316), Nicosia (312), Larnaca (258) and Famagusta (67). Sales for the first half of the year reached 67,689 units; an increase of 23% compared to the same period last year with sales growth in all areas. Domestic property sales in June were up 6% compared to June 2022, but Limassol reported a fall of 5%. Sales to foreigners (non-Cypriots) increased by 38% compared to June 2022, with sales increasing in all areas except Famagusta, where they fell by 7%.
