The Cyprus property market is developing thanks to non-EU buyers

Sales to non-EU citizens increased by 34% compared to August 2022 and accounted for 30% of total sales achieved during the month.

In Limassol alone, September sales fell by 2% compared to the same month last year. In Paphos they increased by 54%, in Famagusta by 38%, in Nicosia by 25% and in Larnaca by 21%. Paphos recorded the highest number of sales, followed by Limassol, Larnaca, Nicosia and Famagusta. Sales to citizens of countries that are not members of the European Union reached 3,813 units in the first nine months of 2023. This is 68% more than in the same period last year.
